Stats, XP and Author Journey

Open Stats & Journey with Pro to inspect writing history and Author Journey. Writing-word credit accumulates through the existing writing rules; a chapter word count is not the same as earned XP. Free progress is retained even when the full progress surface is locked.

Journey displays current level/rank, progress and milestones. Prestige has its own eligibility rules and distinguishes current-cycle from lifetime progress. Read the displayed requirements before using an action; changing UI or restoring a backup is not a promise of duplicate rewards. These are motivation tools, not judgments of writing quality.
