AI, context and Story Memory

Enable the applicable AI plugin, configure a provider in Settings and open Assist or the relevant review tool. Ask a specific question and inspect the scope/provider information. Chapter scope differs from Book context, which uses structure and selected excerpts rather than guaranteeing the entire manuscript. Check the response against your own canon.

Story Memory stores facts you explicitly save and may include relevant entries when enabled for a request. Verify book ownership before saving reusable facts. AI can be wrong or omit context; it does not become authoritative canon. Use preview/confirmation controls before applying generated writing, and keep a copy of important passages.
